In terms of longevity Stranglehold is not a very deep and lengthy game, as you can plow through it in about 8 hours or so.  I timed my gaming sessions and played through the entire single-player campaign in 7 hours 34 minutes.

There is multi-player here which is both a surprise and a bonus as you would not expect it from this game.  The multi-player consists of deathmatch and team deathmatch for up to 6 players online.  The multi-player is actually pretty enjoyable and is a nice add-on if you have friends on the PS3 you want to play with.  There are a few hitches such as the fact that you will have trouble entering slow-motion if other players are not in it, as well as the fact that it lacks variety with game modes and depth.  Overall though it does add longevity to the game and is an appreciated addition.  The games get very hectic online.

Stranglehold

Stranglehold, based on Inspector Tequila from the John Woo film Hard Boiled, is exactly the game that it should have been on the PS3.  The game is not the deepest out there and does not have the replay value of some other games.  What it does have though is some absolutely downright enjoyable gameplay and action sequences which will have you playing this game over and over.  It really does not get old pulling off kills in all different types of manners jumping off objects and interacting with the environment.  Action fans should at least give Stranglehold a rental, as it is short still.  Either way at some point check out this absolute action-fest on the PS3 courtesy of John Woo!

8.0
Graphics
This is definitely a next-gen PS3 game with tons of destructible environments as things will be blowing up all around you. Great environments as well, enemies could have used more detail.
7.5
Sound
The voice acting is nothing to write home about, the sound effects though will really place you in the action-movie mode.
8.5
Gameplay
A very fun game to play through with only a few hitches. The camera may take time to get used to. It may not have a lot of depth, but it is damn sure fun!
7.0
Replay Value
The single player game can be played through in 8 hours, multi-player does add longevity to it though.
8.4
Overall
"Stranglehold, based on Inspector Tequila from the John Woo film Hard Boiled, is exactly the game that it should have been on the PS3."
