The input and output options allows a similar thing to be done with the Nintendo Wii even though there was no digital optical output with the Wii.  We connected the Wii audio connection to the input of the chair, and then ran an output cable into the surround sound system.  This also allowed for a great audio experience.  The output can also be used if you have two chairs at once which we were not able to test.

The quality of the audio for the chair was a hit and miss to be quite honest.  The speaker quality was superb to say the least.  The audio coming out of the speakers was as clear a the optical digital connection from our high-end surround sound system.  The gunfire in games such as Resistance and Warhawk, as well as the musical score from playing Halo 3 on it was superb and really drew you into the whole experience.

The downside to all of this though is that the vibration motors were not up to par with what the speakers were able to do.  We found that the vibration motors were actually a bit too heavy.  When they were turned up even halfway the vibration was almost constant in just about every game.  This meant that the chair was constantly vibrating and in a way it harmed the overall experience from the chair.  The speakers though more than made up for it.  You will simply have to play with the vibration controls and keep them at a minimum so that they are at the right level for you.

Overall the P32 Boom Chair from LumiSource is a very-well made product which looks great in your gaming room and also packs a lot of extremely high quality sound.  If you are a user who does not have the ability to set up a home theater system or want to add to your home theater system this is a terrific buy.  The only drawback to it is the vibration motor which should have been more like a subwoofer than just providing a constant vibration.  Still though if you are looking to add to your audio experience and want more than just a chair, at this price the P32 Boom Chair would be well worth the price!

Performance
A great chair which is comfortable for people of all sized. The speakers sound fantastic but the vibration motors could have been a little better and had more variation.

Value
If you went out and wanted a comfortable gaming chair you could easily spend what this is selling for around $150, without even trying. Considering the extreme comfort it provides and the high quality audio presentation this is a great buy.
