Finally news i been waiting for, the sixaxis with rumble controller is almost finish they got the rumble in and everything...... the only problem is the battery life, the sixaxis controlller without rumble usually would between 20-30 hours per charge, but with rumble in and don't forget wireless the battery could last anywhere between 5-10 hours, and that is not accepctable sony says, but once they get that straight it would be good to go

yeah, hopefully soon, maybe in the next month?? so i could get a PS3 w/ rumble

I dont care much for rumble but it is good news

16-06-2007, 09:49 PM
how could you not care much for rumble?? rumble gets you into the game better, if your getting shot in resistance, then you would want to know by rumble instead of yer screen flashing, right???

5-10 hours is about the psp's play time anyway.

has anyone else seen the little article in PSM about what they think a new sixaxis should look like?? i think it looks dumb, but its got some cool features, like a thing for sweaty palms, & when your battery starts to die then the PS button turns from green to orange to red, & rumble & new L & R buttons

It looks the same it's just has rumble, and i haven't heard about the sweaty palms thing, but the light change might be in there.

they also altered the whole look in the magazine, i tried to rip the page out w/ out buying it & put it on here, but i kept ripping the page in half

A never used rumble even with my psone it is a good feature but i just dont use it

18-06-2007, 12:14 PM
At current I'd say I dont mind rumble or not, but that's probably just because i've been deprived of it.

18-06-2007, 03:09 PM
they'll just up the battery, not hard for sony...

We don't it to be heavy do it, and uncomfortable do you?????????????

Rumble needs to there for certain games like Fall of Man and MGS i never used it that much and they were said it would have shipped to everywhere by November 13th this year so they really getting the Christmas hype up with this rumble controller and a possible price cut right before christmas everywhere and then they have lowered the price of their games to $40 or less(only first party titles and exclusives though) then with the stunning line up of games we have they really are going all out with the PS3.

why does everybody keep saying i don't use rumble much, like it's a feature you can turn on/off, all games don't give you that option

20-06-2007, 10:34 AM
Rumble has never been that important to me. If the game is good enough, it should pull you in and you shouldnt need the rumble to feel the game. But rumble does add something extra which is always a good thing.

but rumble helps you get into game ecsepically online gaming, for example if your playing a game with explosins when that happens the control will rumble or when you get hit you need rumble, you know i would be lost on some games without rumble

20-06-2007, 04:59 PM
You have a point. I just think everyone has made a much bigger deal out of it then necessary, but I am as happy as anyone else to see that Sony has found a way to get the rumble back into the controller.

i want a new design for controll3r!!

21-06-2007, 09:12 AM
I like the design as it is. It isnt special because its so many years old, but they made it right the first time.

21-06-2007, 12:52 PM
i like the controller now, cuz i'm used to the dualshock look & feel, rumble would just make it better

21-06-2007, 01:04 PM
Controller is definately perfected i think in shape and design aspects.
Mr.33 most games do give you the option to turn rumble off all of my PS2 games do and i have 45 i think.

Mr. 33
23-06-2007, 02:33 AM
well who would want to turn it off????????.......yeh they just need to keep the controller the same

23-06-2007, 09:27 AM
well rumble is a plus, but not a need, and i like how light the controller is, though with the rumble it would be better to throw when anger arises

25-06-2007, 09:51 AM
Well I already have 2 without. When it comes out with Rumble ill have a reason to get at least one more, and then I will have the option to play with or without the rumble.
