i agree 100% with mattzani, and also the slim psp has a tv-out so you can plug it into your tv.

Yeah, once the slim comes out, and its hacked, the PSP Will rule...

19-07-2007, 03:13 AM
But you have to buy a seperate Tv-out cable -.-'.

I mean whats so better with the new one, it's just like the old one, but has internal memory, different colour and is lighter

the actual pros and cons because i actually use my psp daily.

Multiple media handling/playback
RSS Reader/internet (wifi)
Battery Life lasts up to 8 hours on lowest brightness
Games are fantastic if you pick ones you know you will enjoy
Movies are easily put on the memory stick (PQ DVD)
Remote Play
analog stick is very accurate because it is so short compared to a console controller
amazing graphics compared to every handheld ever made before it
Many more, but thats fine for now

Only wireless b (decreased speed)
not a lot of cache on the unit for internet images
cant rename/change files on the memory card
Old Flash/Java versions and virtually no browser updates
load times in some games
smudges/oil on the surface (make sure u have a hard case)
back hinge on some psps dont line up properly
the battery door is difficult to take on/off
wifi switch wears out quickly
l/r buttons become loose fast
again, there is more but thats enough.

buy a screen protector from pelican for 3 bucks when you first get it so it doesnt get scratched....

this would be the switch going bad, it gets so loose it doesnt click when you turn it on/off.

Only cons i really had are being addressed with PSP GO lol. I may buy another PSP when that comes out but i dont know.

Just hate how its big really and kinda loud. Wish UMD movies were more availible and wish the mem sticks hold alot more...Id take a PSP the size of my Zune any day haha.

not enough imported games

That could be both a pro or a con though
