Here are some questions I am unsure of regarding PS3?

1. What is the average amount of GB a sports game requires?

2. What is the difference between 4 USB ports and 2 USB ports?

3. Is there an additional cost for using online?

Here are some questions I am unsure of regarding PS3?

1. What is the average amount of GB a sports game requires?

2. What is the difference between 4 USB ports and 2 USB ports?

3. Is there an additional cost for using online?

1. none, but if they do it is about 2 (for most games, it says on the back of the box what it is).

2. none, seriously, just go buy a pc usb hub and you are good to go with 5.

3. no cost as of right now, you have to pay for things on the psn, new games, etc. but the demos, videos, pictures, music, themes, and everything else are free. most games are a pain in the left cheek to play online because you cant send invites in most of them, and to check your messages you have to go to the xmb.

if you are buying a ps3 for online play, dont, buy one. get the 60 gigs for bc or if you dont care then just go get one. it is a fantastic system, but it has a lot still left to be desired. if you need any more opinions just let me know.

Most games have a buddies list anyway, and theyre PS3 exclusives, so if you want to play them, you need a PS3.

Keep in mind there are bigger differences between the 40 gig and 80 gig models besides just the number of USB ports. Besides having just 2 USB ports, the 40 gig model also cannot play PS2 games or Super Audio CDs. If you would like to use those features at all, I would recommend springing for the 80 gig model. Plus, it comes with Motorstorm (US bundle) to boot.
