Trojan on this site?

For the past day or two, occasionally whenever I load up the PS3center forum, javastarts up, and norton blocks a trojan.. Can you guys look into it?

Details which Norton gives me.

Trojan npsa089.tmp(Trojan.Pidief.H) was blocked.

Could you please post a screen shot as well?

We've had a few reports, we're guessing it is something to do with one of the ads that is running. Most likely a false positive.

There's not much of a screenshot to go on. As soon as I open the site, i see the java icon popping up in the task bar, and then Norton gives me the warning that its blocked a trojan. The file gets downloaded onto my temp files, and thats where norton detects it.
I have all ads blocked btw.

Here's a kind of synopsis that Norton gives. Not sure if it'll be of any help.

bharat - Are you getting the warning now?

FrankForce77 12-05-2010 10:46 AM

I recieved this as well this morning when I accessed the site via my home Pc versus my work PC that does not show this. I tried to reaccess the site it brang up another screen for a Microsoft antivirus scan and it appeared to be one of those popups that I have seen before.

It seems to be a false positive, coming from one of the ads we are running, hence why it doesn't happen all the time. We should have it fixed soon, bear with us.

I did before registering, I'm not concerned really if it doesn't happen every single time.

If that's the case, why bother posting here just to revive a dead topic. The problem was fixed over a month ago and isn't an issue anymore anyways so there is nothing to be concerned about.

Because I felt like it.

bharat4ever 06-07-2010 12:13 AM

Update: I just changed my anti virus from Norton to kaspersky, and it completely blocks this site, stating that a trojan is present. Will go back home tonight, and send you the exact message with the trojan name.
