Who actually owns a wii??????

I have one, but one thing i don't like about when i pay zedla I see wgite dots everywhere, but play games u can't see that, it makes me not want to play the game and i almost finished

aceshigh113 14-06-2007 12:04 AM

i have a wii & i beat zelda in 45 hours, not impressive i dont think, just cuz it was a new game though.. but i didnt get the white dots.?.?

NinjaSimon 14-06-2007 09:17 AM

White dots? nope
I have The Wii, and six games now I think, haven't played it much lately, not alot of call to, there aren't many games out that I want to play yet.

aceshigh113 14-06-2007 01:43 PM

yeah me neither, i have zelda. ulitmate alliance. monkeyball (horrible). GTProSeries. & WiiSports (duhh), i have only really played wii sports, zelda & ultimate alliance

Mr. 33 14-06-2007 04:13 PM

i don't know what the problem is.

jase1000 18-06-2007 08:38 PM

I know what the problem is - the Wii only sells kiddy games - zelda, mario brothers, sonic etc. The Wii is only fun when you have friends round and don't mind standing around waving your arms round like an idiot. I owned one - I sold one and got a PS3, best move I made.

Mr. 33 18-06-2007 08:41 PM

Well i kept, both, best deal i ever made myself

jase1000 18-06-2007 08:49 PM

I guess if you need a paperweight or doorstop you are sorted.

Media Entertainment is not just about playing games - it combines music, pictures and video's. When people realise how limiting the Wii is, it will soon lose favour.

Its a shame that Nintendo and Sony did not join together - now imagine that!

Mr. 33 18-06-2007 09:54 PM

yeh that would have been.............. wii playstation

NinjaSimon 19-06-2007 11:38 AM

My prediction still stands that by the generation after the next one companies will be teaming up with each other.

And about the Wii, everyone has a CD player, everyone has an mp3 player, everyone has a DVD player, very few people have a HDTV and therefore very few people need a blu-ray player. Nintendo made the right decision, not all gaming is about blood, guts and killing people. Everyone (inc. adults) can enjoy a game like Rayman raving rabbids, but 10 years olds can't (and shouldn't) play resistance fall of man.

(please note, when I refer to "everyone", I, of course, do not mean everyone, I mean people who can afford a Wii)

Mr. 33 19-06-2007 02:30 PM

also games systems isn't all about gaming, some people need media, thats what 360, ps3 thought....

NinjaSimon 19-06-2007 08:43 PM

But I'm saying we get media everywhere now, watches with TVs in them. It's a bit unnecessary for the Wii to have stuff crammed in it, making it more expensive and less accessible, quite a few people will buy a ps3 and not use some features, but if they buy a Wii, they can get that stuff elsewhere.

Mr. 33 19-06-2007 11:55 PM

why have so much scatter eveywhere when you can have it all in one package..... I sure everyone who has a ps3 will use all of their features in the span of the ps3 life,........ what when you get tried or take a break from a game you can go to the internet, watch/make picture ablums, or listen to a cd, or watch a moive using blu-ray, wii when you take a break either go check the weather, or news, or the vote channel, or the opera channel, or bascially just turn it off and watch tv, ect..

NinjaSimon 20-06-2007 07:17 AM

Or, I just stand up, walk three feet and sit at my cimputer, being able to do all of those things.

Mr. 33 20-06-2007 04:13 PM

well mabye i don't want to move of the couch like a couch potatoe, and want sit right there

NinjaSimon 20-06-2007 08:37 PM

Get a media centre pc then, it sits where your cable box (or whatever you have) normally goes, plugs into your tv, then there's a wireless keyboard and a remote.

Mr. 33 20-06-2007 09:41 PM

you have an excuse for everything don't you????????/

NinjaSimon 21-06-2007 07:52 AM

Yes. Always.

Mr. 33 23-06-2007 01:51 AM

yeh you are officially a smart**(

auron 26-06-2007 03:01 PM

I dont own a Wii and dont plan to own a Wii mainly because the games dont really appeal to me and i had a bad experience with my Gamecube so i dont want to get another Nintendo console that doesnt have any plans for games after the first year.
It is much better only having one box under my TV than the 3(1.dvd player 2.PS2 3.CD player) i used to have before the PS3. Less clutter, less hassle and less wires coming out the TV so it dont look a mess.

MattZani 27-06-2007 12:18 PM

I now own a Wii, but its my cool off/fun time after a hellish time on Resistance, or some other long PS3 Session, its no way my main console, but for ?180, i thought i may aswell, and the games are pretty good!

auron 27-06-2007 02:41 PM

Yea i would pick the PS3 over it any day it just good to wind down on unless you playin boxing with someone then you get the same heated thing as if your playin resistence online.

MattZani 27-06-2007 03:19 PM

not really, the Mii's have no arms, and they feel no pain...

GOLF! now thats frustrating...

aceshigh113 27-06-2007 08:06 PM

i like how in baseball, they dont have legs, yet they still make dust fly up

MattZani 29-06-2007 01:31 PM

yeah, same in tennis replays.

Mr. 33 07-07-2007 11:00 PM

that does make sense but, wii isn't tat bad

DeFX 13-11-2008 05:22 PM

I don't own a Wii, and I don't want one, but I still support it. I played the Wii, and it's really fun. The games are maybe not bloody violent, but they still are fun, simpy for the gameplay. Wii opted for the gameplay. Have you tried the Mario Galaxy game, I don't know about you guys, but I really appreciated playing that game. And super smash brothers! It's sick, it's just as much fun as that game always has been. Nintendo knew exactly what they were doing when they made that console: they got it out quickly, for cheap and made it different. It really has nothing to do with the other consoles, the Wii is a party console, it's fun with your friends and I support Nintendo's choice.

Sauberbmw 13-11-2008 05:31 PM

wii is not my thing, i more into graphically intense games

Kaiboy12 13-11-2008 06:50 PM

The only consoles I own are 2 PSPs, a PS2, and a PS3, and a DS.

ZachLott 17-11-2008 01:17 AM

I've had my Wii since the night it came out. I don't really have that many games for it and find Nintendo's lack of concern over the complete lack of quality hardcore titles appalling. Then again, if my console was printing money through sales of mini-game collections and virtual baby-sitting simulators, I wouldn't care about the hardcore, either. We're unnecessary to Nintendo now.

lloyd 19-11-2008 12:15 AM

I have a Wii. not that fond of it though. it has some awesome games but there aren't as many hardcore titles as I would like but Zelda and Super Mario Galaxy are great games, plus im hoping to finally beat RE4 with the Wii version. I used up too much ammo on the gamecube version ^^;

Michal 19-11-2008 03:04 AM

I actually have a Wii too ... I've used it maybe 10 times... Mario Party = Best Wii game hands down :P

Kaiboy12 19-11-2008 04:56 PM

I guess I should get a Wii just for Mario Party then, lol.

Reno 19-11-2008 08:03 PM

the wii is nothing close to a hardcore gaming console though.

hotfiyah 20-11-2008 08:13 AM

I own a Wii and I love it! It was sure a pain in the @#$ to get though at first. But i like it. Although I do get frustrated at the sensitivity sometimes, but its still fun. I agree that it isn't a hardcore gaming console but I do think that it has its perks. I find it enjoyable and my little nieces and nephews are addicted to it.

lloyd 22-11-2008 12:10 AM

Yeah, my nephew and little cousin love the Wii. they come over just to play it

m0tl3sl4y3r 05-05-2009 10:23 PM

man I only know like 2 or 3 people who own a Wii, which is kinda sad when u think about it.

valentin283 03-02-2010 11:35 PM

According to, like, every Nintendo/Video game related source, EVERYONE owns a Wii, right? It may be the weakest of all three consoles (to some people), but you've got to admit, some brilliant games have come out for the Wii. What's the best game YOU'VE played?

~Rock's top 3:
-No More Heroes
-Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
-Mega Man 9

X_Racer1 03-02-2010 11:45 PM

Seriously what is with things lately, this has to be the 3 or 4th old thread stirred up by people of questionable intentions within a week or so and yet not a single one has been locked yet (to my knowledge), the last post on this thread was almost 7 months ago and even then the last time this thread was truly active was back in 2007-2008, again this thread should be locked at least, if not the above post deleted as well.

glen421 04-02-2010 10:16 AM

Not mii....My fiance keeps mentioning that it would be nice to have one (wii) but we already have 360 and PS3.
