Wii vibration and speaker

does anybody else find that the wii remotes vibrating motor and speaker are a bit "cheap", they havn't even put 2 size motors in for different kinds of vibrations.

NinjaSimon 15-01-2007 05:01 PM

Does't really matter too me, puttiong in 2 motors would just make it big and heavy. I usually turn the speaker off though, it takes quite a bit of battery power and I usually play when other people are asleep.

Kasaioni 27-02-2007 06:17 PM

Well at least it vibdrates in the first place!

MattZani 28-02-2007 01:06 PM

i'd rather have no Vibrations to crappy 1 motor vibrations.

Yeah, it doesn't really make a difference.

NinjaSimon 28-02-2007 09:20 PM

What? Are you insane?! No vibration as apposed to 2 settings?! Don't get me wrong, 2 settings is prettty dang cool, but complaining that they didn't make a controller even heavier for the sake of a pretty useless feature is pretty dumb.

PS3 Guy 01-03-2007 09:17 AM

No. Your insane.

Kilner07 01-03-2007 09:32 AM

didnt even realise the wii had a speaker in the controller, Sounds pretty useless, but i havent played on one so i cant really say.

Yeah, who needs a speaker on the remote? TV'S HAVE SPEAKERS...

Matt

NinjaSimon 01-03-2007 01:31 PM

Because it's FREAKING IN DEPTH!!!! IN DEPTH!!!!! What do you you not get about that?!

MattZani 01-03-2007 03:20 PM

i just don't see the point of it.

Matt

NinjaSimon 02-03-2007 08:24 PM

Yeah, maybe the wii should just a have a normal controller and better graphics eh?

PS3 Guy 02-03-2007 09:04 PM

Yup. :)

MattZani 03-03-2007 07:51 AM

Yeah, none of this novelty motion sensing, not even sony can get it completely right!

Matt

Its depth, thats the point of the speaker, when you shoot your claw shot in Zelda, when it shoots out first it sounds close, and is in the Wii Remote speaker, but when it gets farther away, it fads out of the Wii remote speakers and fads into the TV speakers, I think its a cool feature.

And about the rumble, sure, its only one motor, but its still rumble, its not a big conspet, if the Wii was like the other consoles, had 1080p graphics and a regular controler, and T-M rated games, the gameing industry would be kinda boring, and mostly 13-25 year old people would be gamers.

MattZani 04-03-2007 06:20 AM

oh right, didn't know it was used like that, just thought it was a speaker, can't imagine that many company's using other than nintendo themselves

Matt

WhiteChrome 04-03-2007 06:43 AM

the speaker does "work" but the ability to play mp3's out of them would be kinda cool i think

MattZani 04-03-2007 06:52 AM

only if it could work like an MP3 player.

Matt

WhiteChrome 04-03-2007 03:45 PM

yeah well i mean put mp3 files on the wii then play/transfer them to the remote and jam around the house :D

Dr.buen0 04-03-2007 05:34 PM

hah tht would be a pretty sick idea..how loud are they?
