im not quite sure what you mean.. but try switching it off, and then at the plug & leave it for a minute or 2, then when you switch it back on hold down the button until it beeps multiple times, which resets the display settings.. and prompts you with a choice of 'maximum output'

i cant garuntee this will fix your problem but its worth a try
