Prototype & Install Issues

I read on the net yesterday some ppl were having issues installing Prototype, I got the game last night and had no issues. I am impressed by the graphics and the intensity but wish it was a little slower paced!

It was probably just with review copies. Anyways, I'm still hung on inFamous, so I dunno if I'll get to Prototype.

There was a definite problem with Prototype's installation, hit the intranets as soon as the game was released. To fix the issue, the developpers have told people affected to delete up to 700mb of stuff, despite them technically having enough space on their HDs

Clears room for the install, which is reading that you dont have enouh space even though you do. I believe they released a patch or something to fix this already?

who knows why; software glitch...? theyve fixed things up so you dont have to do that 700mb thing they were telling people to do a couple days ago

It sounds like the Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction problems that existed around it's release, no matter how much space was available some consoles wouldn't allow for the game install until your freed up new free space, but it was fixed pretty quick which sounds like the same situation that happened here, although I don't believe an explanation was ever really given as to why that happens.
