Transferring Data from my Mac to PS3
So, I have read a few posts about transferring data (i.e. mp3's, videos, etc...) from my Mac (OS X 10.3.9) to my PS3, but I haven't been successful in doing it. Anyone out there have any ideas? Thanks!

i personally am a windows user. but if you get a removable storage device (i.e. SD card, Memory Stick, Compact Flash, or even a USB flash drive) and put the files onto there from your computer, you can transfer them to your playstation.
(assuming you have the 60 or 80 GB version) but if you have the 20 or 40 GB then you either need a memory card reader, or the flash drive. i hope i could help

i suspect you are reffering to Mac Formatted video files, and iTunes purchased music.
For the Video's, download PS3Video9 and convert them As for iTunes purchased music, the only way is to burn them to a disc and rip them onto PS3.

Um, I am trying at the moment just to be able to get my files (wirelessly if possible) from my mac to my ps3. Primarily I just want my mp3's on the ps3 to be able to make playlists. Also, I have the 40gb ps3. Anymore help? Thanks!

try looking into the media server function of your PS3. i personally dont use it because its confusing to me. but google. "Playstation 3 media server" and they will probably have programs that you download to help wirelessly stream media to your playstation

should be easier to just use an ipod and play em off of that. i dont know anything about MAC's so hopefully you and aces are making headwiegh |
