so as far as the red PS3 goes do you have purchase entries with your points or are you just automatically entered for ever 1000 points you get?

To answer your question Dipchit, you're automatically entered in the contest. Your points will then be usable later on when we implement the full store section. It's still a work in progress, so it might not be any time soon. Hope that helped. :)

Just as an addition, You can see the red PS3 giveaway as an opening ceremony as our points system. It's for the actives to save up points and for people to get used to it.

yes that answers my question exactly. Cause they way they were talking made it sound like you had to buy stuff with your points but that is just stuff in the store once that is up and running

^ months later and theres still no store or am I blind because I can't see anything. Did the Red PS3 already go? Hasn't it been drawn already? I hope this site gets some traffic cause I like the setup.

All things in due time I suppose, they are starting things with a bang though by having
a custom PS3 be the maiden giveaway

Exactly you can't necessarily attract people with small giveaways, like a hat or other small things, you attract people with large giveaways, like a custom red PS3. Over the months of the contest it's probably attracted hundreds of new users to the site and once that's done the points system should get even more since people like the idea of earning items for free.
