Have you officially entered the era of HD gaming?

I wanted to know how many of us PCNers have started playing their games on an HD screen.

Also, if you have an HDTV or HD projector let us know what kind it is. you know, brand, size, native resolution, stuff like that that.

Over a year ago I got myself a 47" 1080p vizio. It's not great but it gets the job done :P

I got a 720p screen, HD televisions have plummeted in terms of price recently and I am looking at possibly upgrading

I didn't even know odd numbered measurements in TVs existed, but then again I haven't really paid that much attention to it. I mostly just noticed that the measurements are even numbered.

supposedly with my model they implemented what is called Motionflow 120hz, which is supposed to produce a better refresh rate for gaming. I have no complaints thus far

on a side note, i was surprised to see a vizio commercial during the superbowl

I've never seen a 120hz tv in action. can you tell a difference between 60hz and 120hz?

My nicest set up is a 60' Sony Bravia with Bose Surround sound and my PS3. Gotta love it.

I got a 22" Vizio about a month after I got my PS3. Would've liked to have gotten something nicer, but I couldn't stand playing my PS3 on my 15" tube TV. Might look into that option later this summer though, HDTV prices are getting veeeeeery appealing.

Pawn Shop actually lol. Which is why it was so cheap. But it was brand new, only out of the box for display. When I bought it they put it right back in the box and everything hahaha. I would say look at the pawn shops and stuff if you're looking at getting one, hella good deals. ;)

The one right up by Dominoes Pizza and M&M Meats. I think they actually get a lot of electronics from retail stores at discount prices too, so they sell them there as well. Great place to start looking in my opinion.
