Virtua Tennis or Top spin 3?

I want to buy a tennis game, but don't know which one is better. Any suggestions?

It's a close call, but I'd definitely go with Top Spin.

Virtua Tennis, while fun and more accessible than TS, just feels too arcadey. Plus, the emphasis on diving is kind of ridiculous...

Top Spin is much more realistic and more of a 'hardcore' tennis game. It's definitely for those who want a serious challenge, so it's not as fun as VT, but it's more rewarding.

Having played both, I would go with Top Spin. But it does depend on which style of gameplay you like.

I side with top spin too, but have just played the demos for both... wanted to get a comment from people who actually have played the game.
Will top spin hold your interest till the end of the career? If i make a player, do i get to play with federer at the end?

I think Top Spin will manage to hold your interest, or at least longer than Virtua Tennis. The simplicity of VT makes it get quite boring very quickly, and the career in VT takes FOREVER.
