has it been revealed how much M$ paid for the MGS series? or not. im at least assuming they did cuz that is how they work

Well if it anyway resembles the amount that they paid for the GTA IV DLC. Which I think they paid 50mil for. Then you could assume in the tens of millions.

i am assuming it is more than the 50 million for the GTA IV because that game was coming to 360 anyways and MGS was not

They didnt pay for GTA they paid to have all the DLC exclusive. The recent content is like a whole game in itself too, Gamestop sells hard copies of it...

well i thought that the 50 mil was also so that the game was released with the PS3 and not a year later on the 360 like the Xbox version to the PS2 versions
