So you are stuck on a deserted island with 1 game...

With a television and a immortal hamster running on a hamster wheel to generate you power.

What game do you pick?

For me It's a tossup between

and

Oh great, now that's a hard one but I'll go with a tossup between Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando

and Gran Turismo 4

since both are long games with a ton of replay value, or in Gran Turismo's case, it takes so long you wouldn't even have to worry about replaying things over.

Cod4 probably. I haven't played in months but it has the most replay value for me. I suppose there'd be no wifi so that could turn out to be a bad decision on my part.

But maybe the hamster can power a huge antenna so you can get Wi-Fi, never mind if you could do that, why in the world would you still be stuck on the island. It's not like COD4's campaign isn't fun though and you could finish it on the hardest difficulty setting, it's not like you wouldn't have time.

Ya it's just so short! haha

You're right though. If I had access to the internet I would not be on the island for to long.

But how would you finish it, you need a second GameBoy, link cable and Pokemon Red and Yellow available to get all the possible Pokemon, you would just be able to get whatever is available in Blue, I don't remember what exactly you could and couldn't get anymore, I only owned Red, Yellow, Gold and Crystal before it became pointless to buy them, no denying though that they were addictive and had some well known cheats, who didn't know about that stretch of water at Cinnabar Island.

so I'm not the only 1 who played Pokemon games a lot when I was younger, except I played Gold a lot because it was the first Pokemon game I had because when I got my gameboy advance, Gold was the newest Pokemon out, so I ended up gettinmg it instead, when I got Yellow, it just wasn't as fun as Gold, to me anyways

I had pokemon yellow, if you want a tip. Dont ever try to trade the pikachu that comes standard in the game lol, it wont work and you lose him. My version came with the elite gameboy color with pokemon on it lol, ah good times!

As for me id take Uncharted or MGS as you can play those over and over and over....you get the point. Plus you learn pointers on survival haha too lazy to get covers im sorry.

Shows how well Pokemon sold during those days and even today it still survives off the nerds who still enjoy those types of games, did anyone collect the cards though, I got a stack of them still (I collected them back when it was so popular, most kids at recess were doing Pokemon battles), mainly because no one would give me anything for them that would make it worth my while to sell them. Most frustrating thing was though that those things needed batteries to keep your game saves alive, went back to Pokemon Gold about a year ago for nostalgia and found that my battery is toast since it can't hold a save where my older Pokemon cartridges work fine, saves and all, well that and accidentally throwing a Pokeball at a trainers Pokemon in Pokemon Red, big mistake, lost all my Pokemon in my boxes except the ones in the first boxes.

Without a doubt:

Solid is still the best, IMO. I've beaten it 14 times, and I still love it.

Nick your my hero! haha

As for pokemon i collected them but not for the same reason as everyone else lol. Me and my close friend at the time were collectin them because we could make bank off them haha. Had a book of nothing but good cards, even got a "special edition" charzard once. (good god why do i remember that) so Pokemon started to die down around us so we wnet to try and sell them all like we were planning, and nope no card store will buy them. So i ended up losing all those cards.

it would have to be something that would last a while and have some re-playability. Racing games would get boring after a while by understand that if it had to be anything then it would be Gran Turismo.

But I would probably go with Metal Gear Solid 1 or 4
