Hulu Plus is it worth it?

Is paying $9.95 (US) worth watching TV you pretty much already have seen?
What do you guys think?

Dunno, depends on if you like rewatching stuff. LoveFiLM in the UK is pretty worth it though because it also lets you rent movies or games (playing POP: Forgotten sands, and MOH right now). The streaming is kinda crappy though, there are only 600 movies to choose from and most of them are old.

They just price dropped down to $7.99, a rather insignificant drop at that.

Netflix is the way to go I'd say. Streaming + Mailed Movies without having to watch commercials.

I cant see Hulu really taking off unless they reign back their fee to $5 a month.

You cant blame Hulu for the price. They were doing fine providing it for free, but its all the TV channels that started complaining. According to them they lose profits if they allow Hulu users to watch on the TV instead of the computer.

Hulu also states its against the rules to hook a computer up to the tv as well, but there is no way for them to track that. its all rather stupid, if there are quality shows then ill watch them. Sadly thats few and far in between these days.

I gotta believe Hulu wont be around by this time next year if they continue with their
current model, netflix is improving at a breakneck pace and I predict they will smother
them with superior selection and service.

That and Netflix just offered a deal to all major networks to purchase new episodes of TV shows to stream on Netflix within the same day.

And if any of the apps from the Android make it over, each company will be able to provide their own service.
