MW3 In Existence?

Shocking as the thought might be, apparently MW3 is in development as we speak, possibly by a restaffed Infinity Ward alongside the Call of Duty game in development by Sledgehammer Games. The reason to believe MW3 is in development, this photo captured by the Game Sector Network.



While obviously not solid confirmation, considering the past success of Modern Warfare games, I would be very surprised to find out no sequel to MW2 would be coming out.

IW just blamed Sony's security issues for the problems in MW2. As anyone that plays it now, MW2 is COMPETELY unplayable due to "hackers" and its complete garbage. It so bad that it makes Black Ops look good.

Well these issues have been around for nearly 2 months, and the PS3 has only been hacked for what a few weeks? And its broken on the 360 and PC too....So yeah, something to think about when you buy another COD title.

Could be that someone created a PKG with the hack files, and renamed the title to Modern Warfare 3... It would be very easy to do.

so, IW owns the rights to the Modern Warfare series then?
I'm interested to see what Sledgehammer does with the Call of Duty series.
but I wouldn't blame MW2's problems on Sony's security problems, because MW2 was broken a while ago.
I'm kinda glad I traded MW2 in a while ago, if it's completely unplayable as Dustin says

Trust me. I was so tired of Black Ops at one point i popped in MW2 thinking "whatever, this game is still fun."

First game I get into there is some lag switchers and other things going on. Second game a guy has an unlimited AC 130 that shoots the big gun like an assault rifle non-stop. Third game someone tried to hack my profile and reset everything, but I shut the PS3 off.

The good news is Black Ops is somewhat playable now, but it got fixed too late. Im now addicted to Mass Effect 2 and most likely will be until Killzone 3 releases lol.

I think under their agreement with activision Zampella and West owned the rights to it but with all the legal trouble between the two its hard to say.

Activision still owes Zampella and West the royalties from MW2.

As for the game, I'm sure there is a COD in development by sledge that's rumored to take place in space however with all the hacks recently I wouldnt place to much credence in this picture.

I haven't had much problems with Black ops, except for probably lag switching.
I still have a good amount of fun with the game though
