Last week, as a part of the special Christmas update on the PSN, the Metal Gear Solid 4 expansion hit LittleBigPlanet. The two packs, both running $4.99, allowed LBP owners to not only deck out Sackboy as their favorite MGS characters, but also came with bonus Metal Gear goodies, enabling MGS fanatics to create their own infiltration missions.
However, reports are hitting forums everywhere that the expansion is causing some wierd glitches. Just about everything that could be going wrong, seems to be going that way, from progress not being saved to entire saves and levels becoming corrupt and unplayable. Media Molecule has not been available to make a comment, but if these glitches are as widespread as they seem, they are no doubt working on a fix. Until then, though, buyer beware.
