What seems to be the problem with the super-little Killzone 2 ads in Toronto? Apparently after numerous complaints by parents, Sony Canada has decided to pull Killzone 2 ads on the Toronto area. The complaints were made by parents that were consern about the ads regarding the violent imagery. Davis Mirza, a 4/5 grade teacher, got a hold of Sony after being aware of the ads which was displayed at a bus shelter near his Scarborough school.
According to Mirza that kind of violent ads do not "help promote any kind of community renewal or even responsibility." After that, Kyle Moffatt of Sony Canada said that for the next time of future promotional material, Sony Canada will establish off-limits radius around schools. Perhaps they should also complain about those menacing glowing red/orange eyes of the Helghast; who knows they maybe a shock to students while riding on the bus. |
