The latest issue of Famitsu has confirmed that the previously DS-exclusive title Ninokuni is coming to PS3. Details are still slim, but from the low-quality scans, the game appears to be a full HD version, and not merely a port.
Ninionkuni is an RPG developed by White Knight Chronicle/Professor Layton developers Level-5 Studios, in collaboration with Studio Ghibli, the anime production company behind iconic films such as Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away.
The game centers around Oliver, who is given a magical book that allows him to journey to the world of Ninokuni. The title's battle system makes heavy use of the DS' stylus to draw magic spell, which I can only assume will be translated to the Move motion control system.
Ninokuni is due out for the DS this Fall in Japan, with no mention of PS3 release date for either Japan or Western territories. With Level-5's tremendous popularity in the East, I wouldn't be surprised to see the PS3 version make its debut in at Tokyo Game Show.
