Resistance 3 is 9 weeks away now, but we still have many things to get excited about. The Resistance 3 Beta is coming shortly after the Uncharted 3 beta ends for all Socom 4 buyers and possibly Plus subscribers. However something else has popped up that gained our interest.
In a recent image (found below) there seems to be a new logo on the Resistance 3 box that we haven't seen before. Something called "PSN Pass" is now slapped on the box for the bundled PS3 and Resistance 3 sale. The only thing the little tag states is "only availible in countries where PSN Store is availible." So we currently don't know what it is for.
It could be a sign that the lame online pass codes EA have adopted are now spreading to Sony. Which means if you buy the game used you have to pay another 10 dollars to get a code to play online. Perhaps this has nothing to do with Resistance itself, but PS3 in general. As it is appearing on the PS3/Resistance bundle which could mean Sony is either advertising free PSN to all new users, or saying a special online pass is coming our way that surveys for PS Plus hinted at?
