Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction is set to make a huge impact on the software lineup of the Sony PS3 as it is expected to be the biggest game on the console this year, and for good reason.
The latest review scores coming out of Electronic Gaming Monthly back up that fact as the reviewers rated the game a 8.5, 9.5, and 9. It is clear that Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction is going to be a triple A quality game for the PS3, but how many units will it be able to sell?
The nice thing about Ratchet is that it will be able to reach a market that Sony has little games for right now on the PS3, platforming action-style games. This is a genre which the Xbox 360 is also lacking as games such as Kameo really did not perform up to par. Ratchet should fill that void for gamers and really sell some PlayStation 3 consoles this holiday season. Expect a full PCN review soon..
