Activision made the announcement on Tuesday in regards to their financial results for the fiscal quarter which ended September 30, 2007. They stated that Guitar Hero III sold more than $100 million in one week of sales in North America.
Activision is riding high following the release of Guitar Hero III as they posted a 69& increase in net revenues for the second quarter, which stood at $188.2 million reported.
Net income for the second fiscal quarter was $0.7 million.
This time last year Activision was announcing a $24.3 million net loss, so this is a huge upgrade.
Net revenues for the six-month period ending September 30, 2007 were $813.2 million. The big winner for Activision is now Guitar Hero III.
