Resistance: Fall of Man wasn’t really known for being very gory, and when compared to its competitor Gears of War 2, it really isnt. Well Ted Price of Insomniac Games has just announced that Resistance 2 will indeed be more gory than the first.

In the final build of the game players will be able to shoot off heads and even watch limbs tear apart along enemy lines. Also noted that certain physics will then be playing a roll in the game adding a new experience. With this in mind, will Resistance 2 finally be the mature game to take on Gears of War?

Ted Price also mentioned a new gun that will be appearing in the game, The M 44. Players will be able to run up and shoot enemies then run away and detonate the bullets. Its like a gun that launches C4! Ted Price is expected to release even more news about Resistance 2 in the coming days so stay tuned!
