It would be no surprise if the game were to stray to another console for the publisher and developer to try and make more money off of the game since it likely would sell very well on the Xbox 360 just as it would on the PlayStation 3.  Capcom has squashed rumors though in a response stating that “Capcom does not comment on rumors.  Devil May Cry 4 is exclusive to PS3.  No other announcements have been made.”

This simple response squashed rumors that the game would be coming out on the Microsoft Xbox 360 at least at first.  This sort of no-comment response squashes the rumor that at least it will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive for a period of time but far more information is going to have to come out to completely clear the air.  This is because in the past with games such s Resident Evil 4 it is now known that when a company says a game is exclusive it does not always mean that it will always and forever be exclusive to one console, it may just be for a period of time.
