RedOctane has made the announcement that Guitar Hero III will be making its way to the next-generation PlayStation 3 this fall! The game is also being developed for the Nintendo Wii and the Microsoft Xbox 360. This will be the first simultaneous multi-platform release for the franchise which began on the PlayStation 2 but has since skyrocketed with popularity.
Guitar Hero II just released on the Xbox 360 last week. There is already online content in the works on the Xbox 360 so it should be interesting to see how much new stuff they can get together in a matter of 6 months for an entirely new game.
