Huang has confirmed that Guitar Hero 3 will feature online play!  There is no telling what type of online play will be featured here.  The ideas running around the office here at PCN though have everyone very excited at the thought of such things as guitar battles or even co-op play where people could grab a guitar and play certain parts of the song together.

This is long overdue in the minds of many gamers as they were all pushing for online play in Guitar Hero II.  When Guitar Hero 3 releases this winter though every guitar freak out there will get what they have hoped for and will be able to go online and find out there are millions of people who are just as good if not better at tearing it up on the guitar than they are.
