Pelican has announced that they are getting ready to come out with a new USB adapter which will allow your PS3 peripherals to work on the Playstation 3.
This will allow PlayStation 2 controllers to be used on the next-generation PlayStation 3. For those who own expensive PlayStation 3 DDR dance pads such as the Cobalt Flux as well as Guitar Hero controllers will be happy to hear that the adapter will work with these.
The adapter will have its own PlayStation Button along with three LEDs to indicate whether the Guitar Hero controller is in regular, left, or right mode.
With this adapter there may now be absolutely no more need to hold onto that trusty old PlayStation 2.
