Sega Racing Studio boss Guy Wilday has stated that the Xbox 360 and PS3 offer the same development opportunities. The leader of the team currently working on Sega Rally for the PS3 and Xbox 360 has stated that the game looks pretty much the same on both next-gen systems. He stated that "you’re really hard pushed to tell the difference" between the two consoles. He stated that the Xbox 360 was a lot easier to develop for. This is the same man who worked on Codemasters’ Colin McRae Rally series as well so he is a veteran with the rally racing games. Wilday talked about the PS3 stating that "The flipside of very innovative hardware is that it takes you a while to get up to speed with it. The learning curve is steeper in that you have to get into it and understand exactly what the benefits are, and understand exactly how to do certain things to get the most out of the platform."
