Retail Blu-ray Warhawk To Still Use PS3 Hard Drive

The retail version of Warhawk which will ship on a Blu-ray disc this week along with a Bluetooth headset will still use almost 1GB of space on the PS3 hard drive.

The news has broke that the Blu-ray disc version of Warhawk on the PS3 is going to use 789MB of cache in one cache file. This is going to be a required install on your PS3 in order to reduce loading times for the game.

Another tidbit of news for people hoping to just install the game and then trade it in to your local game store is that the Blu-ray Warhawk is going to require that the disc must be in the system in order for it to run on the PS3.

So basically those hoping to save space buying the Blu-ray version of Warhawk on the PS3 will still have to put almost 1GB of data on their PS3 hard drive to play.
